Strauss wanted to join the successful group buying wave by opening an exclusive group sale marketplace for their customers for a limited time for Independence Day in Israel.
Strategy
For the first time a food distributor that deals strictly with food retailers opened a PayPal account and dealt directly with their customers.
Sortal contribution
Using the Sortal platform the company was able to sell vouchers that allowed customers to make a purchase through their Facebook page and bring foot traffic to offline locations.
Results
- Using Sortal they were able to sell the vouchers as part of a group buy product which resulted in customers redeeming the product offline and thus bought more products when they used their voucher.
